OWLIENT regards as a Minor any User under the age of majority stipulated in the applicable local data protection legislation (between 13 and 16 depending on the country) (“Minors”).
OWLIENT pays special attention to Minors and in particular to ensuring that they are able to browse safely on OWLIENT games and Services. OWLIENT recommends that parents and legal guardians be present when Minors use the Internet.
Minors residing in the European Union are not permitted to create User Accounts to access our Services without the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and legal guardians can use a dedicated interface to create a ‘Parent Account’ and manage their Minor’s Account at any time.
When a Minor accesses a discussion space or forum, their parents or legal guardians can choose between two instant messaging modes: (i) ‘normal chat’, which prevents children from entering Personal Data and sharing it with other Users and filters words and phrases defined as being unacceptable in order to block harmful or insulting content; and (ii) ‘safe chat’, which restricts communication between Minors to a group of preselected phrases. ‘Report abuse’ links are also provided for the use of parents, legal guardians and Minors to assist them in ensuring the safety of OWLIENT sites, discussion spaces and forums.
Consent given by a parent or legal guardian applies only to the OWLIENT site or sites for which it has been given. In any event, OWLIENT reserves the right to restrict the access of Minors to all of part of an OWLIENT site.

You will be informed of the reason for the extension within one month of receipt of your request.
Where OWLIENT has asked for your consent to process Personal Data about you (for marketing purposes, etc.), you may withdraw your consent at any time. This withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of any processing carried out prior to the date of withdrawal.
